PROBLEM SOLUTION
BD-Live
I cannot connect to the BD-
Live server.
Check whether the network connection is successful or not
by using the Network Status menu.
Check whether the USB memory device is connected to the
product.
The memory device must have at least 1 GB of free space
to accommodate the BD-Live service. You can check the
available size in Delete BD Data.
Check whether the BD-Live Internet Connection menu is set
to Allow(All).
If all above fails, contact the contents provider or update
the product to the latest firmware.
When using the BD-Live ser-
vice, an error occurs.
The memory device must have at least 1 GB of free space
to accommodate the BD-Live service. You can check the
available size in Delete BD Data.
Recording
"Performance test failed."
message appears, and also
Schedule Recording / record-
ing and Timeshift function
does not work.
Using lower quality USB storage device not supporting Re-
cording function can cause this kind of problem. It is rec-
ommended to use USB HDD storage device.
Recommended specification of USB HDD is at least 5400
rpm. USB HDD of RAID type is not supported.
Pay channel
Can not view Pay channel with
connection CI(+) CAM
Check whether the firmware of CAM is upgraded for com-
patiblity with CI+ 1.3Version.
Some CAM's in the market with older firmware versions
are not fully interoperable with this device that is compliant
to v1.3 specification.
It is a problem of legacy CAMs, not this CI Plus compliant
device.
In this case , this problme can be resolved by applying a
firmware upgrade to the CAMs.
So, please contact your network operator or CAM operator
for it.
" When the factory default settings are restored, all stored user BD data is deleted.
