Using the built-in speaker
Set the SPEAKER switch on the bottom panel to ON to listen to playback with
the built-in speaker.
NOTE
When set to ON, sound will usually be output from the built-in speaker. In the
following cases, however, sound will not be output even when set to ON.
When recording and in recording standby (video/audio) •
When headphones or another device is connected to the • /LINE OUT
port
Connecting monitors and headphones
To listen with headphones or an external monitoring system (powered
monitor speakers or an amplier and speakers), connect them to the /LINE
OUT jack.
