7 – Video and Audio Playback
Looping playback
Using the I/O LOOP function, you can continuously repeat (loop) playback of a
section between IN and OUT points that you set.
1. On the Home Screen, during playback or when playback is stopped
or paused, press the F1( ) button (I/O LOOP) to open the
I/O
LOOP SETTING
pop-up.
If stopped or paused, press PLAY button to start playback.
2. Press the F1( ) button (IN) to set the current point as the starting
(IN) point of the section to be played repeatedly.
The mark appears under the playback position bar to show the
location of the start (IN) point.
3. Press the F2 button (OUT) to set the current point as the end (OUT) point
of the section to be played repeatedly.
The mark appears under the playback position bar to show the
location of the OUT point.
4. Press the center of the Pointing Stick to turn I/O LOOP playback ON. The
icon appears on the Home Screen during loop playback.
Press the center of the Pointing Stick again to turn I/O LOOP playback
OFF. The icon disappears from the Home Screen when OFF.
5. Press the F3/HOME button (CLOSE) to close the loop playback pop-up.
NOTES
To cancel I/O LOOP playback, press the • F1( ) button (I/O LOOP) to
open the
I/O LOOP SETTING
pop-up, and press the center of
the Pointing Stick to turn IN-OUT looped playback OFF. The icon will
disappear.
The IN (starting) and OUT (ending) points cannot be set in dierent les. •
