4 – Video/Audio Recording
Adjusting camera magnification
This unit’s digital zoom allows you to zoom in on a subject before recording or
taking a picture and during video recording.
When in recording standby or during recording, the digital zoom level is
shown at the top right of the Home Screen.
You can adjust the zoom from 100%–400% (x1 to x4 in 0.1 increments).
To adjust the zoom, press the Zoom control towards W [m] or T [,].
W [m]
Press the zoom control in this direction during recording or recording
standby to decrease the zoom level and widen the eld of view (W :
wide).
T [,]
Press the zoom control in this direction during recording or recording
standby to increase the zoom level and narrow the eld of view (T :
telephoto).
Overwriting recorded audio with the input signal
(After Rec)
While playing back a recorded video le you can overwrite the playback
sound with the input sound and record it as a new le (After Rec function).
NOTE
After recording can only be used in the video recording mode.•
When using after recording, you cannot use the auto-recording function •
or start a new le manually.
During after recording, sound will not be output from the built-in •
speaker even if the SPEAKER switch is set to ON.
You cannot pause during after recording (the • RECORD button is
disabled).
When using after recording, the sampling frequency of the playback le •
is used regardless of the current recording sampling frequency setting.
Selecting the file to overwrite
Use g and t or the
BROWSE
screen to select the le.
