4 – Video/Audio Recording
Prerecording a few seconds before recording
starts (PRE REC)
By using the prerecording function, when the unit is in recording standby
(video/audio) you can automatically capture up to two seconds of the signal
input before the recording starts.
1. Press the MENU button to open the
MENU
screen.
2. Use the Pointing Stick to select
REC OPTION
and press the center of
the Pointing Stick to open the
REC OPTION
screen appears.
3. Press 5 and b to select PRE REC, and then press t or the center of the
Pointing Stick.
4. Press 5 and b to select ON (default: OFF).
5. When setting is complete, press the F3/HOME button to return to the
Home Screen.
TIP
By using this in combination with the AUTO REC function, you can record
events without losing the beginnings of sounds.
NOTE
If the unit has been in record standby for less than two seconds, sound for the
amount of time in standby is recorded.
