RECORDING – GENERAL INFORMATION
Available memory (recording time) for the HDD
archive
In the setup menu, you can find out how much memory is still
available.
1 Press »SETUP« to open the setup menu.
2 Select »SETUP MENU – Archive settings« ( ) by pressing

« and press »OK« to activate.
3 Select »Hard disc Info« with »

« and activate with
»OK«.
– The amount of memory still available is displayed.
4 Press »OK« to exit the information page.
5 Press »SETUP« to deactivate the setup menu.
Remaining recording time for the disc
You can find information about the remaining recording time in the
»EMPTY« field in the index screen.

– The recording time still available is displayed, dependingon
recording quality.
Recording settings
You can make settings, such as adding chapter markers, selecting
the input source and setting the recoding quality, in the setup menu.
The settings are described on page 110.
Data management in the HDD archive
If you want to record programmes manually in the HDD archive that
are longer than the preset time of the time shift memory, the pro-
gramme will be shown in the HDD archive separately.
As an example, you record something for 4:30 hours. In the HDD
archive the first entry with 02:59 hours will be displayed and then
the second entry with 01:31 hours, if the time shift memory has
been set to 3 hours.
