– The amount of recording time available is shown.
Notes:
During the recording, you can press »
« to enter the switch-off
time (30 minutes, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, none).
The switch-off time depends on the playing time left on the disc.
The HDD DVD recorder automatically switches off the recording
after this time.
The info line can be hidden by pressing x.

« to pause recording.

« to resume recording.

7« to end the recording.
– A warning message appears.
Press »OK« to acknowledge it.
– The HDD DVD recorder updates the contents table of the disc.
Note:
If this message is not acknowledged, the HDD DVD recorder
continues the recording.
9 After a short while the »YesDVD« menu appears.
– You cannot record any more programmes on this disc.
Notes:
If you wish to use the YesDVD function, please read the section
on executing the YesVideo function on the next page.
If you do not wish to use the YesDVD function, select »No« with
»
S
« in the menu and confirm it with »OK«.
The YesDVD function cannot be used with recorded discs. This
disc must be deleted before recording.
Finalising a disc (DVD+R/–R/–RW)
If the YesDVD function is not used you must first finalise the disc if
you want to play programmes recorded on your HDD DVD recorder
on a DVD player. Refer to the section on finalising discs
(DVD+R/–R/–RW) on page 99.
Once the disc has been finalised, no further recording is possible.
Error messages
The HDD DVD recorder displays messages showing how to deal
with any errors which might occur.
