Here is what the options on the Second Initial Setup Screen mean:
1 STEREO/MONO Press 1 to control how the audio signal is recorded and sent to the
TV. Options are <STEREO> and <MONO>.
2 SECOND AUDIO Press 2 when you are ready to record a second audio program.
Options are <OFF> and <ON>.
3 AUDIO MIX Press 3 to hear the audio signal which is recorded on the tape. Options
are <ON> and <OFF>.
4 AUTO DOOR Press 4 to open the cassette door automatically when the cassette is
close to the cassette door. Options are <ON> and <OFF>.
5 AUTO BLUE Press 5 to set the TV screen to be blue when a channel which is not
transmitting a signal is selected. Options are <ON> and <OFF>.
6 POWER ON Press 6 to set the VCR to VCR or TV mode when the VCR power is
turned on. Options are <VCR> or <TV>.
Setting the Clock
This is easy to do and important for your later timed recordings.
You'll need to set the clock when first hooking up your VCR, and any time the power
goes out more than 30 minutes.
When you first plug in the VCR or after a power outage, the clock display will read "--:--
