Creating and Recording the title
You can easily create and record personalized titles on your videos. Create a title and
store it in the memory of the VCR, following the procedure below. Select the picture on
which the title will be superimposed, then recall the stored title and perform recording;
the title will be recorded on the picture.
The stored title remains in the memory of the VCR even if the VCR power is turned off
as long as it has not been cleared.
To create a title
1. Turn on the power of both VCR and TV.
2. Be sure that the TV is set to the video channel (channel 3 or 4).
3. Aim the remote control to the VCR.
4. Press the TITLE button on the remote control to bring up this screen. The
JOG/SHUTTLE indicator will light.
Note: You have already stored a title before, it appears. To create new title, turn the
Shuttle Dial counterclockwise to erase the previous title.
5. Select the character size with the Jog Dial.
Turn the Jog Dial in either direction to select from one of three character sizes.
6. Turn the Shuttle Dial clockwise to start creating a title.
7. Turn the Shuttle Dial again to move the flashing box to the position where you want
to enter the first character for your title.
8. Select characters with the Jog Dial.
 Turning the Jog Dial clockwise changes characters in the following order.
9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 to create a title.
