to record simultaneously on two or more decks.

Yes, on the DVD deck. However, it is not possible to switch to
DV input. Switching is not possible during DV input recording.
Unable to pause recording on the HDD. If PAUSE is pressed
while HDD is recording., it will enter into Live Memory
Playback’s pause mode. However, record pause is possible
during external input recording. (By pressing REC and PAUSE
on the remote control simultaneously.)
DVD-RW/-R (Video mode) recording will be recorded in the

use of DVD-RAM or DVD-RW (VR mode) discs is

As the VHS and DVD/HDD share the same tuner on this unit,
the channel cannot be changed while recording is in progress
