Press the [ ] or [ ] button to select a
sensor operation position, then press
the [ ] or [ ] button to set the
selection (you can set up to 20
positions).
You can set sensor operation positions at any
screen position.
z Moving the cursor
Each time you press the [ ] button, the cursor
moves from left to right in the top row. After the
cursor has reached the end of the row, it moves from
left to right in the row below.
You can press the [ ] button to move the cursor in
the opposite direction.
Holding down the [ ] or [ ] button moves the
cursor as follows:
z Setting sensor operation positions
Pressing the [ ] or [ ] button once enables the
currently selected position (displays ). Pressing
the [ ] or [ ] button again disables the setting
(displays –).
Operation position setting example
If you set an area near the center of the screen, the
sensor operates and recording starts when a moving
subject near the center of the screen is detected.

When you have finished making the
settings, press the [EXIT/OSD] button.
The display returns to the normal screen.
To activate alarm recording when the motion sensor
detects movement, display the <RECORDER
MENU>, and set the “ALARM TRIGGER” in “ALARM
REC MODE SET” to a setting other than “ALARM.”
