Hi
Acquired my uncles Sony KDL-40V2000. Its currently blinking 4 times which we can see from. However trying to activate the dianostic
screen is near than impossible.
When powering down the TV, we follow the service manual buttons.
But when pressing the power button, the green light turns on and then it goes in the 4 red blinking light situation. How should we get the
service menu up?
Also an authorised sony repaire store can take the TV in for £55 to be checked over, but how much do you think its going to cost for it to
repair?

Have you tried to replace the bulb yet? If the bulb is bad, the diagnostic screen will not come up.
