Sony KDL-40V2000 Flat Panel Television User Manual

contact resistance: 0.0025 ohm / max. current per circuit: 20 amps / max. voltage per circuit: 250 volts / voltage drop: 2.5mV at 1A
Is this connector going to be adequate for this application?

The D-board actually arrived this morining, and its already installed. The TV works great after the auto focus adjustment, however I am
getting some slight distortion accompanied by wavy green lines at the top left corner of the screen. It is only in the top left corner and not all
the way across. Do you have any idea what this could be. I'm sure it's an adjustment but I cannot figure out what adjustment it is. The
service manual basically gives instructions on all adjustment but it doesn't give specifics for my paticular problem.

Hi Larry,
I have a Sony TV KP-57HW40 and week back I have red spark on the tv and tv switched off and it started blinking 5 times. When I try to
switch on the tv it comes with full blue screen with lines and immediately switches off and 5 blinks continues. I called Sony service center and
they told me the blue CRT tube is bad and requires to replace and they do not have the part. I found the part online before I order the part I
went through your post and found that I need the service manual to aline. Can you please send me the manual?
I found this Discussion very helpful.
Thanks

Hi Larry,
Thank you very much I got the manual.
I have a question.
When facing TV, left tube not lighting is this the CRT needs a replacement?
Is this one blue tube?
Can I go a head order the part?
Thanks,
Ramana

Ok it could not be lighting for many reason. First swap out the board at the end of the green tube right next to it and see if it lights. If the
tube does not light switch the HI voltage lead on the high voltahe spitter to see and make sure that the problem is not there. Afyer all the
swaps, and the tube will not light still, Yes I would say the tube is defective.

Hi, I am posting to see if someone could tell me what the self diagnosis I got from my TV means, in not so technical terms. This is what it
reads:

3: +B OVP 0
4: VSTOP 0
5: AKB 1
9: ZCD 1
