BMC Atrium Integration Engine 7.1.00
Creating a request on the Application Pending
form
Whether you create requests using the Application Pending form or the eiexfer
utility, all event-driven requests are written to the Application Pending form.
The Integration Engine service processes requests on the Application Pending
form on a scheduled interval that is configured in the
eie.cfg file (the
AsyncInterval parameter).
NOTE
The Integration Engine service has no mechanism for clearing entries on the
Application Pending form. From time to time, you must delete old entries
manually to keep the database from getting too large. Alternatively, you can write
workflow that periodically deletes entries automatically.
You can identify a record that you want to transfer either by its key or its
AR System request ID. Alternatively, you can include all records configured for
exchange by running a bulk exchange.
NOTE
You cannot identify a record by its AR System request ID if you are running a data
exchange between an external data store and BMC Atrium CMDB classes. In this
case, you must use its key.
