5. Remove the existing battery:
a. Insert a pen or other narrow object into the slot at the front of the battery
holder to pop the battery out (1).
b. Lift the battery away from the battery holder (2).

6. Install the new battery by pressing it into the holder.
7. Reinstall the system board and the access panel. Refer to “Preparation
Procedures” in Chapter 1, “Installing the Server Blade and Options.”
8. Install the server blade in the server blade enclosure. Refer to “Installing a Server
Blade” in Chapter 1, “Installing the Server Blade and Options.”
9. Power up the server blade. Refer to “Powering Up the Server Blade” in
Chapter 1, “Installing the Server Blade and Options.”
10. Run RBSU to reconfigure the system with the new battery. Refer to
“ROM-Based Setup Utility” in Chapter 2, “Configuring and Deploying Server
Blades.”
