Answer Possible Reasons Possible Solutions
No, it is red A processor has failed.
Processor 1 is not installed.
A processor is an unsupported
type.
Processors are mismatched
(speed and/or type).
A PPM has failed.
A PPM is not installed.
A DIMM has experienced a
multibit error.
No valid memory is in the
system. Populated banks have
missing, mismatched, or
unsupported DIMMs.
An overtemperature condition
has occurred.
Perform the following steps:
1. Power down the system, and
disconnect all cables at the back of
the server blade.
2. Remove the server blade from the
enclosure.
3. With the system powered down,
remove the access panel.
4. Visually inspect the system for
damage.
5. Add or replace processors, PPMs
DIMMs, power modules, and/or the
fans.
6. Be sure that the proper connections
exist between the system board,
PCI-X mezzanine board, NIC I/O
board, SCSI backplane fan cable and
LED/power switch board.
7. Reinstall and power up the server
blade. Be sure at least 14 A are
available.
