7.1 Introduction
The Q549.2E LA chassis (platform name TV543/92) is the
successor of the Q529.1E LA chassis (platform TV522/92).
Main difference with the previous platform is the introduction of
“Net TV” and “CI+”.
7.1.1 Implementation
Key components of this chassis are:
• PNX8543 Digital Colour Decoder
• EP3C25F324C7N FPGA (“Local Contrast”)
• HD1816AF Hybrid Tuner
• DRX3926K Demodulator
• TDA9996 HDMI Switch
• TPA3123D2PWP Class D Power Amplifier
• DP83816AVNG PCI ethernet media access controller and
physical layer (MacPhyter-II).
7.1.2 TV543 Architecture Overview
