INTRODUCTION
You can schedule certain events that consume high bandwidth or that need users to be logged off the
network to take place at a convenient time. To Schedule an event:
1 From the Web Filter Manager, select Maintenance > Scheduler from the appropriate collector or
database in the Navigation tree. The Scheduler is also available from the Start > All Programs >
SurfControl Web Filter menu.
2 Click Add Item. The Scheduler Item Configuration dialog box displays.
3 Select the event you want to configure from the Select item to configure list.
4 Select when you want the event to occur:
•Hourly
• Daily
•Weekly
•Monthly
•Yearly
Further options are available depending on the frequency chosen.
