Variable memory editing operation procedure
Variable memory editing operation can be performed according to the following procedure, setting the
unit connected as a recorder to variable memory mode.
1 Select the edit mode by pressing ASMBL button V or desired INSERT button W.
2 Select VTR to be operated by pressing RECORDER or PLAYER button E.
3 Register IN/OUT point by using SET button T and IN/OUT button T.
The OUT point of PLAYER cannot be registered.
4 After selecting VTR of PLAYER by pressing PLAYER button E, set the initial speed by
the search dial P while pressing SET button T.
5 Simultaneously pressing both SET button T and PREVIEW/REVIEW button S results
in automatic profiling for both PLAYER and RECORDER, then the VTR of PLAYER is
operated at the set initial speed up to the IN point.
6 After passing the IN point, turn the search dial P to memorize the playback speed of VTR.
7 When the tape has passed the OUT point set by RECORDER, the memory of the
playback speed will terminate.
8 When AUTO EDIT button R is pressed, variable memory editing is executed. Once
editing has been executed, the memorized speed will be cleared. The initial speed will
not be cleared however.
9 The result of editing can be checked by pressing PREVIEW/REVIEW button S.
<Notes>
The content stored in the memory will be cleared in a mode other than the variable memory mode.
