SYSTEM ADVANCED SETUP (VIEW BUTTON)

To program the advanced main system parameters:
1. Do one of the following:
Select SYSTEM ADVANCED SETUP on the Main Selection menu. Type the
password if requested. The System Advanced Setup menu appears.
Press the VIEW button for about three seconds until the System Setup menu
appears. Type the password if requested.
a. Use the arrow buttons to highlight ADVANCED SET-UP.
b. Press the +/- button. The System Advanced Setup menu appears.
2. Use the arrow buttons to move between items on the screen.
3. When the menu item you desire is highlighted (blinking), press the +/- button to cycle
through the options.
Date Format
Set the format for displaying the date on the main monitor.
Password
Enables or disables password control to access programming menus.
Front Panel Control
Enables or disables the front panel buttons to operate the multiplexer. You can access
programming menus in either mode.
Main Monitor Display
Select ALARMS if you want the main monitor to switch to cameras that have alarms. If
you are using the main monitor for normal video and you do not want alarms to
override what you are observing, select NONE.

when a remote switch opens
or closes a ground in the
multiplexer; for example, if a
switch is on a door and the
door is opened.
