Playing Audio CD and Video CD Discs
Using repeat playback during random playback
REPEAT : Repeats all tracks in a random order.
REPEAT 1 : Repeats the selected track.
No display (OFF) : Repeat playback is not performed.
Cancelling Repeat Playback
Press [REPEAT] to select No display (OFF).
Repeat playback is also cancelled if you used [PLAY MODE] to change the playback mode.
It is also cancelled if you open the disc tray or switch the power off.
A-B Repeat Playback

You can repeat a specified section within a single track.
While an Audio CD or Video CD is playing (You cannot select this during program or random playback.)
1 Press [REPEAT A-B] at the starting point of the section you want to repeat.
REPEAT A- appears in red, and the A-B Repeat start point is stored.
2 Press [REPEAT A-B] again at the finish point of the section you want to repeat.
REPEAT A-B appears in red, and the A-B Repeat finish point is stored.
Repeat playback of the section between A and B begins.
You can also use ¡ (Fast forward) to search for point B.
Cancelling A-B Repeat Playback
You can cancel A-B repeat playback by pressing [REPEAT A-B].
If you perform an operation that goes beyond point B (skipping ahead to the next track, etc.), A-B repeat playback
is cancelled. Or you can press 7 (Stop) to cancel it.
It is also cancelled if you open the disc tray or switch the power off.
If you exit the track, the A point is cancelled. (You only perform A-B Repeat within a single track.)
Changing the Audio Channel [AUDIO]

CD
Some Video CD discs, such as Karaoke discs, include several audio channels: one channel with a vocal track and one
channel without a vocal track. When playing these types of discs, you can select the channel with vocals or without
vocals.
While a Video CD disc is playing
1 Press [AUDIO].
The audio channels (L/R, L, or R) are displayed on the TV screen.
2 Press 2/3 to switch between the channels.
You can choose between the following three settings.
L/R : Normal stereo playback.
L : Outputs the L (Left) channel to the left and right speakers.
R : Outputs the R (Right) channel to the left and right speakers.
