Tool – Measure
Measuring Dimensions within the Selected Element(s)
This command measures specied dimensions within the selected element.
Parameters for [Tool-Measure] Dialog Box
Points
Measures the distance between multiple points on the element (the distance between two selected
points, or the dimensions of the “bounding box” tted to three or more selected points).
Point to Face
Measures the distance between a specied point and a selected face (where the face is specied by
selection of multiple points).
Angle
Measures the angle formed by three specied points.
Circle
Measures the circle formed by multiple points (the circle dened by three specied points, or the
circle formed by tting of multiple selected points.)
Operating Procedure

From the element list, select the de-
sired elements

Select the [Measure] from the [Tool]
menu.
The [Tool – Measure] dialog box will appear.

Select the type of measurement you
want to perform by checking on the
radio button.

The measurement results is displayed in the upper-right win-
dow. Note that the content of this window can be edited.
The measurement procedure is indicated sequentially in
the Status window.

Click the [Exit] button.
Tool – Measure mode will be canceled.
