View – Move Light
Moving the Light
This command is used to move the light, for instance when the element is displayed in shading mode.

• The light is a pseudo light designed to produce a shadow when the element view window is in shading mode.
• The position of the light is set relative to the point of view and line of vision of the window. By default, the light is located in
the rear right quarter of the line of vision.
One point light must be used as the light.
Left : Moves the light perpendicular to the line of vision.
Middle ([Shift] + Left) : –
Right : Moves the light along the line of vision.
Operating Procedure

Click [Move Light] on the [View] menu.
The active window will be set in shading
mode.

Drag the item in an element view win-
dow while holding down the left mouse
button.
The light will move on a plane perpendicular to
the line of vision, causing the view of the ele-
ment to change accordingly.
Dragging upward while holding down the right
mouse button will move the light forward along
the line of vision, and dragging downward will
move the light backward along the line of vision.

Dragging while holding down the [Shift] key will in-
crease the movement of the light.

Press the [ESC] key.
View–Area Orbit mode will be canceled.
However, the element will remain displayed in
shading mode.
