Description of setting
For setting the editing mode to ON or OFF.
When the display is highlighted, the ASSEMBLE editing
mode is set to ON, and the ASSEM button lights.

The ASSEMBLE editing mode is selected on this
menu screen.
Automatic editing and manual editing
• When the editing mode has been selected (the
button is lighted), automatic editing or
manual editing can be performed even after the
ASSEMBLE screen has been exited.
• After the edit IN and OUT points have been
registered (the and buttons are lighted),
the tape can be prerolled to an IN point or cued up
to an IN or OUT point even after the ASSEMBLE
screen has been exited.
