Adjusting 3D Surround and
Natural Surround
1 Press AUDIO MENU to enter the audio menu.
➜ EFFECTS is displayed on the DVD recorder system.
2 Press 2.
3 Press 4 repeatedly to select either 3D SURR or
NATURAL, then press 2.
4 Press 3 or 4 repeatedly to set the surround effect of
3D SURR or NATURAL between 0 (no effect) and
100 (maximum effect).
5 Press OK to store the setting or 1 to exit without storing.
6 Press AUDIO MENU to exit the audio menu.
Clear Voice
Clear Voice enhances the voices in surround sound signals
to make dialogues easier to follow. Clear Voice is available
for surround sounds only.
● Press VOICE briefly to switch Clear Voice on or off.
➜ CLR VOICE ON or OFF is displayed on the
DVD recorder system.
Night mode
Night mode reduces the volume differences between loud
and quiet passages.At night, you can enjoy surround effects
at low volume without disturbing your children or
neighbours. Night mode is available only for Dolby Digital
and MPEG multichannel signals and only if supported by
the source material (e. g. a movie).
● Keep NIGHT pressed for 2 seconds to switch Night mode
on or off.
➜ NIGHT ON or OFF is displayed on the DVD recorder
system.
Demo mode
The demo mode demonstrates various features of the
DVD recorder system and will start automatically. If your
DVD recorder system has a demo mode, you may wish
to deactivate it.
1 If necessary, press 2 to switch the DVD recorder system
to standby.
2 Keep STOP 9 pressed for at least 5 seconds to cancel the
demo mode.
➜ DEMO OFF is displayed.The demo mode is deactivated
permanently.The DVD recorder system is switched to
standby.
