Follow the steps below to program your DVD/VCR to record TV
programs while you're away from home.The DVD/VCR will turn
itself on, record, and turn itself off automatically. Before you begin:
Set up the TV channelsat the DVD/VCR.Details are on page 17.
Set the clock. If the clock is not set, CLOCK MUST BESET will
appear on the TV screen briefly, followed by theVCR menu.
Follow the directions on page20 to set theVCR's clock.
Put a tape in the cassette compartment of the DVD/VCR. Make
sure the tape's record tab is intact and the tape is long enough
to record the program(s).
Pressthe DVD/VCR OUTPUT button so that theVCR light
appears on the front of the DVD/VCR.
Pressthe VCR/TV button so that the VCR/TV light appears on
the front of the DVD/VCR.
Do each step within 60 seconds of the previous step,

PROGRAM, then press the F.FWD button.

Press the PLAY button or the STOP button to select a
ONCE, DAILY, or WEEKLY recording.Then, press the
F.FWD button.
÷_ONCE: The DVD/VCR will record aTV program on any day
you choose, up to 12 months away.
® DAILY: The DVD/VCR will record the same channel every day
from Monday to Friday - starting at the same time and recording
for the same length of time.
WEEKLY: The DVD/VCR will record the same channel on the
same day,at the same time, and for the same length of time
