You can change the password as often as you like.To do so, follow
these steps.
• Before you begin, place the DVD/VCR in DVD mode.
Press the DVD/VCR OUTPUT button so that the red DVD light
appears on the front of the DVDNCR. 35

While playback is stopped, press the DVD button, then
)ress the SETUP button, The setup screen will appear.

Press the Number 4 button to select LOCK.
The SETUP/LOCK menu will appear.

Press the Number buttons to enter the 4-digit password.
• When doing this for the first time, enter any 4 digits.That num-
ber will be the password until you change it.

Press the Number 2 button to select CHANGE PASS-
WORD. The first space in the PASSWORD will start flashing.

To erase the old password, press the
POWER button to turn off•he
DVD/VCR.Then, pressand hold the
DVD STOPbutton on the DVD/VCR
while pressing the POWER button
on th_ DVD/VCR to turn on the
power again.When "HELLO"
appears on the display panel,you
may release the DVD STOPbutton.
