To adjust the tone of white (Color Temp.):
You can select a preset color temperature (white tone) using the menu.
(See page 34 for menu setting.)
1. Display the Picture 1 menu.
2. Select Color Temp. by pressing the p or q button.
3. Select your desired color temperature by pressing the t or u button.
The color temperature of each option is as follows:
5800K, 6000K, 6500K, 7500K, 9300K, High Bright, User.
To cancel the menu:

To customize (and store) the color temperature to your preference, carry out the following procedure.
(See page 34 for menu setting.)
1. Select Color Temp. in the Picture 1 menu.
2. Press the t or u button to select User .
3. Press the ENTER button.
4. Press the p or q button to select the desired item.
5. Press the t or u button to adjust the selected item.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for optimum adjustment results.

About color temperature
There are dierent kinds of white color. Color temperature is a way to show the dierences in white. White of which
temperature is low appears reddish. When the color temperature rises, white appears bluish. For example, you can
change the color temperature using the following procedures.
To rise the color temperature: Increase the Blue Gain and decrease the Red Gain.
To reduce the color temperature: Decrease the Blue Gain and increase the Red Gain.
• If you set all of R, G, B Gain to negative values, the original brightness of the image can’t be obtained even when you
maximize Contrast in the Picture 1 menu.
To optically brighten or darken projected images (Iris):
Iris is a function to optically adjust the contrast by opening or closing the aperture of the lamp. This projector is equipped with
the following 6 modes to adjust the iris.
Open : The iris is kept fully opened.
3: This mode is the deeper black than the other modes.
2: This mode is darker than the mode1 but brighter than mode3.
1: This mode provides is the more brighter than the mode 2 and mode 3.
User: Allow user to dene their prefer brightness level.
variable:The iris is automatically adjusted depending on the image being displayed.
