Turning on the PDR-155
Before plugging in the PDR-155
• Make sure that all connections explained on pages 27–39 are complete (the connection to the
TV is required).
•Turning on the PDR-155 may cause a momentary power surge, which might interfere with other
electrical equipment, such as computers. If this happens, connect the power cable to a wall out-
let on a different circuit.
The remote controller buttons used in the following step are illustrated inside a gray rectangle ( ).

PDR-155
Plug the subwoofer (SWA-155X) into an AC
outlet.
Note
• The shape of the power cord plug may vary depend-
ing on the area.
Connect the included power cable to the AC
INLET on the PDR-155’s rear panel, and plug
the cable into a home AC outlet.
• Do not use any power cables other than the
included power cable. Also, do not use the included
power cable for other equipment.
•To avoid risk of electrical shock, do not connect or
disconnect the power cable from the PDR-155’s AC
INLET while the cable is still plugged into the AC
outlet.
Press STANDBY/ON on the PDR-155 or press
ON on the remote controller to turn on the
power to the PDR-155.
The display and indicators on the PDR-155 lights up
and the POWER indicator of the subwoofer (SWA-
155X) lights up.
Tip
If you press the ON button on the remote controller,
the connected components will also turn on.
