This section explains how to record on a Onkyo recorder that does not have a CD DUBBING but-
ton or another manufacturer’s recorder. Refer to your recorder's instruction manual for information
on recording.
The remote controller buttons used in the following steps are illustrated inside a gray rectangle

Press INPUT or on the PDR-155 or
INPUT SELECTOR on the remote controller
to select the recording source component.

Remote controller
Prepare the recording component.
Place the recording component in record standby mode.
Adjust the recording level on the recording component.
Refer to your recorder’s instruction manual for information on signal-synchronized
recording (i.e., synchronized recording using input signal detection), or information on
recording via its analog inputs.
Start recording.
Start playing the source component selected in Step 1.
Notes
•For digital recording, you need to connect the digital output of the source component
to the digital input of the recording component.
Do not change the input selection during recording. Otherwise, the recording cannot
be made correctly.
•To record analog signals, set surround mode to STEREO. Otherwise, you cannot
record.
