Lifting the TV
The TV is heavy; be sure to use ergonomically correct
lifting procedures when moving the TV.
Due to the size and weight of the TV, it is
recommended that a minimum of two people move it.
To transport the TV, grasp the display in the area under
and above the screen.
Move the product gently. Never place the TV with the
glass screen facing downward, unless it is protected
with pads.
Setting Up the TV
Set up the TV by:
■ Connecting the MediaSmart cables (provided)
■ Connecting the input source cable
■ Connecting the optional equipment cables
■ Connecting the wired LAN (Ethernet) cable or the
(optional) wireless LAN antennas (provided)
■ Connecting the power cord (provided)
To remove the TV stand, see “Removing or attaching
the stand” on page 19.
Optional equipment, TV air antenna, cable TV
services, Internet services, and all cables are sold
separately.
Connecting MediaSmart cables
Route and connect the MediaSmart cables.
1 Locate the three MediaSmart cables from the box.
2 Connect MediaSmart A cable to the MediaSmart
A connector (A1). Route the cable through the
clamp (D) located below the connector panel.
Connect the other end of MediaSmart A cable to
AV Out (A2).
3 Connect MediaSmart B cable to MediaSmart B
connector (B1). Route the cable through the clamp
(D) located below the connector panel. Connect
the other end of MediaSmart B cable (ferrite core
end) to Control (B2).
4 Connect the two-prong male plug end of the
MediaSmart C cable to MediaSmart C connector
(C1). Connect the other end of MediaSmart C
cable to connector (C2). Route the cable through
the clamp (C3) located below the connector and
close the clamp to secure the cable.
