Note that older models of DVD recorders and DVD
writers may reject DVD-RW ver. 1.2 discs and/or corrupt
the data on the disc. If you want to share DVD-RW discs
between this recorder and an older recorder/writer, we
recommend using ver. 1.1 discs.
The following table shows older Pioneer DVD recorders’
limited compatibility with DVD-RW ver. 1.2 discs.

Discs should be finalized in this recorder before playing. Unfinalized
VR mode and Video mode discs may not play.

Cannot read the CPRM information
will show in the display when
you load a disc. However, this will not affect playback.

Copy-once protected disc titles will not play.
Readable file system
This recorder can play DVDs recorded under the
following file systems

: ISO 9660*, UDF 1.02, UDF 1.50,
UDF 2.00, UDF 2.01.

ISO 9660 Level 1 or 2 compliant. Romeo and Joliet file
systems are both compatible with this recorder.
