Timer Recording
Timer Recording
You can set the timer for a total of 32
programs, up to 30 days in advance.
Set the date, time, and channel of the program
manually.
b Note
Do not operate your cable box or satellite receiver
just before or during a timer recording. This may
prevent the accurate recording of a program.
1 Press TIMER.
The “Timer List” display appears.
2 Select the “New Input” row, and press
ENTER.
3 Select an item using </, and
adjust using M/m. Then press ENTER.
The adjustable items are listed below.
“Pr/CH”: Sets the channel, LINE IN 1, 2
or 3.
“Date”: Sets the date (up to 30 days
later). Select a recording pattern by
pressing
M repeatedly to set the timer for
the same daily or weekly programs.
“Start”: Sets the start time.
“Stop”: Sets the stop time.
“Extend”: Sets the duration when a timer
recording is in progress. If the program
set to be recorded daily or weekly is
extended, the manually extended time set
here will be added to the subsequent
timer recording times.
• If you want to make the detailed
settings, select “Set Details” and press
ENTER. Select an item using M/m and
set using </,.
“Record to”: Sets the recording
destination. If there is not enough
available DVD disc space for the
recording, the recorder automatically
records the program to the HDD even if
you select “DVD” (Recovery
Recording).
“Recording Mode”: Sets the recording
mode (page 43).
“Update”: Sets the recorder
automatically replacing the previous
timer recording with the new one.
“Genre”: Sets the genre.
“Dual Mono Recording”: Sets the
sound to be recorded (page 104). If you
want to make detailed settings, set the
following:
- Set LINE IN 1, 2 or 3 in “Pr/CH.”
- Select “Dual Mono” in “External
Audio” in the “Audio In” setup
(page 104).
