b Searching the Video File for a
Specific Frame
You can search the video file for a frame that
matches your specified date and time.

Specify the date and time.
Specify the date and time to apply as the
search criteria using the spin buttons on
the search panel.
(month/day/year/hour/minute/second)

MP2 Viewer searches the file for frames
that match your specified date and time,
and displays the search results.
b Checking Video Files for Any
Tampering
You can appraise whether or not video or date
and time information of stored files has been
tampered with.

Enable the tamper detection feature.
Before you open the video file and
display the [Play List] window, select the
[Tamper Det.] check box.
The tamper detection feature works on
all the image files loaded into the Play
List.
The slide bar, at both ends,
indicates the start and end dates/
times of the video file. You have to
specify the search criteria within
this range.
You can use the search feature only
when you are in stop, pause, or normal
playback mode. This feature does not
support other playback modes
(fast-forward, fast-reverse, and
slow-play).
How MP2 Viewer displays the search
result differs depending on the mode
from which the search was initiated.
Stop or pause:
Displays the frame that matches the
specified date and time as a still
image.
Normal playback:
Moves the playback to the frame that
matches the specified date and time,
and continues the playback from
there.
Tampering of date and time information
can only be detected when the DVR
from which video data was downloaded
is DSR-M810(P)/DSR-M814(P) and the
firmware version is 2.30-00 or higher.
