Initial Set Menu (Required user access level: ID4)

Configure [Authorized Accessible
DVR Group] settings.
The DVR groups registered in the
[Register DVR] window accessible from
the Initial Set menu are listed. Selecting
the check box of a group authorizes
access to the group.

Configure [Broadcast Range]
settings.
Select the broadcasting range using the
radio buttons.
Concerning the following notes ( )
related to the selected option, a
confirmation message is shown in the
dialog box when the relevant button is
selected. Confirm the contents and click
[OK].
Options:
Not allowed:
Broadcast operations are not
permitted.
Apply authorized accessible DVRs:
Broadcast is only possible to the DVR
groups authorized for access in
[Authorized Accessible DVR Group]
(step 4).
It is also possible to limit the
transmission destination to one
group in configuration of [Ranging
Broadcast] on the [BROADCAST]
window (see P70).
All DVRs:
Broadcast is possible to all DVRs.

Click [OK].
Saves the DVR access limitation settings
and closes the dialog box.
Broadcast is limited depending on the
DVR model and firmware version.
DSR-M810(P)/M814(P):
Broadcast is only possible when the
DVR firmware version is 2.20 or
higher.
DSR-M800(P)/M804(P):
Broadcast to these models is not
possible.
Broadcast is also sent to the DVR
groups not authorized for access in
[Authorized Accessible DVR Group]
(step 4).
You cannot advance to the next step
without configuring the [Broadcast
Range] settings.
The [Broadcast Range] settings cannot
be configured in the following cases.
When the access level of the target
user is ID1/ID2 (users not
authorized to perform broadcast
operations).
When the software you are using is
VA-SW8000LITE (not equipped with
broadcast functions).
