1 SENSOR Button – Opens the sensor speed menu. Use this menu to set the sensor detection and pre-alarm recording
speeds.
2 Sensor Recording Speed Slider Bar – Sets the recording rate for sensor detection.
3 Sensor Pre-alarm Function Slider Bar – Program the pre-alarm function for individual cameras. When an alarm is
triggered, images are recorded for the programmed duration (five seconds maximum per camera) before the event
happened.
To the right of the A (average) bar is a slider that sets the pre-alarm function for all cameras.
How can the DX7100 record video before there is an alarm? Video is recorded for the amount of pre-alarm time, five
seconds for example, but as long as there is no alarm, the five seconds of video is constantly overwritten with the latest
five seconds. When there is an alarm, the DX7100 stops overwriting the video.
