Convenient features
To mark points using the marker icon
Preparation
Press [DISPLAY] ➡ [DISPLAY] to display the on-screen menu icons
and use the joystick [1] to highlight the marker icon (➡ pages 40
and 42).
1 Press [ENTER].
You are now ready to mark positions.
2 Use the joystick [2, 1] to select the
next asterisk (¢).

[A] When marking positions 11 and
above
Use the joystick [2, 1] to highlight the marker
pin icon.
Use the joystick [3, 4] to select “11–20”.
You can select the next group of 10 when the cur-
rent group is full.
! Use the joystick [1] and press [ENTER].
The first marker is selected.
" Use the joystick [2, 1] to select an available
asterisk (¢).
3 Press [ENTER] at the point you want
to mark.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add other markers.
º To clear a marker
Use the joystick [2, 1] to select a marker number and press
[CANCEL].
º To clear the on-screen icons
Press [RETURN] several times.

³This feature only works if the elapsed playing time of the disc is
shown on the unit’s display.
³Some subtitles recorded around the marker may fail to appear.

³The markers are ordered by time. This means that the marker
numbers can change when you add and erase markers.
³You cannot mark and clear points if you have write-protected the
disc, either with DISC SETTING (➡ page 52) or with the write-
protect tab (➡ page 99).
