Timer recording
Manually programming the
unit to make timer recording
[RAM] [DVD-R]
You can set your own programming conditions (up to 16 programs).
Preparation
³Switch [DVD, TV] to “DVD”.
³Ensure that this unit’s clock is set correctly.
³Insert a disc for recording (make sure there is enough room for the
program you are going to record plus a little extra).
1 Press [PROG/CHECK].
The timer recording list appears.
2 Press [ENTER].
The timer recording setting screen appears.
3 Use the joystick [1] to move through
the items and change the items with
the joystick [3, 4].
³The current settings are shown each time you press [1].
³CHANNEL (Channel number and caption)
³DATE
Current date--->the day before one month later>
DAILY SUN-SAT>DAILY MON-SAT>DAILY MON-FRI>
WEEKLY SUN--->WEEKLY SAT
³ON (Start time)/OFF (Finish time)
The time increases or decreases in 30-minute increments if
you hold the button.
³MODE (Recording mode)
SP>XP>FR>EP>LP
(SP, XP, EP and LP ➡ page 26, FR ➡ page 47)
4 Press [ENTER] when you have
finished programming the timer.
The timer recording list reappears.
A line that is ready for programming is highlighted.
