Telnet
11.1 Overview
Any popular Telnet client can be used for remote configuration.
Use the '-h' argument with any command to show help. E.g. 'showep -h' explains what showep
does and how to use it.
11.2 Config Telnet Server
For security reasons, disable the Telnet Server if the bridge is not to be configured via Telnet.

Note: The telnet connection will be terminated automatically if the telnet client doesn't
input any commands for 5 minutes; i.e. the console idle timer is 10 minutes (600
seconds).
11.2.1 Command Format
The following table describes some common parameter formats for commands available via the
telnet console.

PARAMETER DESCRIPTION
<mac> EoC MAC address in the format 'nn-nn-nn-nn-nn-nn where nn=00~FF'. E.g. '00-01-40-
13-03-36'. Use the '-m default' option of an EP command to apply settings to the EP
Default Profile.
<ip> IPv4 address in the format 'nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn where n=0~9'. E.g. '192.168.1.1'. This
format is also applicable to <mask> and <default gateway> parameters.
