Appendix N: DVR Properties and Log Files
DVR Log List
The DVR Log List allows you to perform a thorough search of all events and actions of your
system.
To view the DVR Log List:
1. From live viewing, right-click a DVR icon and select DVR LOG LIST.
2. Click SEARCH. The software will search for the most recent events and actions on the
sy
s
tem.
3. Click PRINT to print the list to your default printer or click OK to close the window.
Advanced Search
To perform an advanced search:
1. Open the DVR Log List.
2. Under BEGIN, enter a start date and time and sel
ect the box
3. Under END, enter an en
d date and time and select the box
4. Under CHANNEL, enter a desired channel number and
select the box
5. Under QUERY, enter an event or action (i.e.
alarm, motion, disconnect, video loss, REC start,
REC stop, etc.)
6. Click SEARCH.
7. Click PRINT to
print the results to your default printer or click OK to close the window.
