RECORDING
You can instantly record live video to your PC using DVR NetView.
NOTE: Recording does not have to be enabled on the DVR for you to record onto your PC.
To record live video:
1. From live viewing, select a DVR from the DVR In
dicator list at the bottom of the main screen.
2. Click . The system immediately begins recording live video from the selected DVR
to your PC. The RECORD button will remain light blue whi
le DVR NetView is recording.
3. Click REC
ORD again to stop. The RECORD button quickly flashes dark blue to indicate
recording has stopped.
4. By default, files are saved to
C:\Program Files\NetView\Download. To change the location
click SETUP to open the DVR NetView Setup menu. For more details, see “DVR NetView
Setup” on page 42.
You can playback the recorded video files using Pl
ayback Mode in DVR NetView. For more details,
see “Local Playback” on page 53.
Remote Recording
You can start/stop all recording on your system using Remote Setup in DVR NetView. For details,
see “CONTROL” on page 66.
