Switching the dubbed language or the audio
format*
These settings allow you to listen to a dubbed language other than
the default one if the DVD provides alternatives.
1 Press »d« during playback.
– Display: for example »AUDIO: 02/03 GER«.
2 Press »d« to select the audio language you want.
Note:
The structure of the DVD itself may stop you from switching the
audio language. In this case you can usually make the setting in
the DVD menu.
Selecting and displaying subtitles*
If the DVD provides subtitles, they can be displayed on your TV screen.
If subtitles are available in several languages, you can select the
ones you want.
1 Press »y« during playback.
– Display: for example »SUBTITLE: 02/10 GER«.
2 Press »y« to select the subtitle language.
Notes:
To switch off the subtitles, keep pressing »y« until »Off«
appears in the display.

deactivating subtitles. In this case you can usually make the set-
ting in the DVD menu.
Creating and playing a playlist
You can compile titles or chapters into a playlist.
The titles in the »Playlist« are played back in sequence.
1 Press »PROG« during playback.
2 In the »TITLE« (or »Files and folders« list – depending on the
disc in use), select the title, chapter or picture with »

« or
»
S
« and press »CL« to add it to the »Playlist«.
3 Press »
s
« to select »Playlist« and »
8« to start playback.
Notes:
Individual titles in the »Playlist« can be deleted with »CL«. The
whole list is deleted if you switch off the HDD DVD recorder or
take out the disc. You can hide the »Program play list« by press-
ing »x«.
