SYSTEM MENU
The SYSTEM menu is where you make advanced
changes to the accessibility of the DVR. The
submenus within the SYSTEM menu are DATE/
TIME, NETWORK, MAIL, USER MANAGEMENT,
SYSTEM MANAGEMENT, and CONTROL DEVICE.
The DATE/TIME menu allows you to change the
date and time and sync the DVR to the ocial
time when connected to the Internet. The
NETWORK menu displays your personal settings
that make it possible to view your DVR over the
Internet. The MAIL menu congures the settings
for the DVR to send alert messages to individual
email addresses. USER MANAGEMENT allows
you to create and set permission levels for
dierent users. SYSTEM MANAGEMENT displays
various versions of the DVR as well as the ability
to update rmware or restore factory defaults.
The CONTROL DEVICE menu allows you to set
multiple DVRs to be used with a single remote.
MAKING CHANGES TO THE DATE/TIME MENU:
1. Click the SYSTEM button.
2. Click the DATE/TIME title on the left hand
side of the window.
3. To navigate through the DATE/TIME menu,
use the
mouse to click the status (OFF,
ON, etc) of the setting you wish to change.
You will see the outline of the status turn
green.
4. When you have made all the desired
changes to the DATE/TIME menu, click
APPLY. If you wish to exit without saving
changes, click
in the top right corner of
the window.
