2. Highlight S.M.A.R.T. Setup... and then press # . The S.M.A.R.T. Setup screen
displays.
Note If no hard disk drives are installed in the DVR, the S.M.A.R.T.
Setup… button is disabled.

Your DVR shows the conditions of hard disk drives when the installed IDE hard
disk drives support S.M.A.R.T. Monitoring program.
a. Highlight the box beside Use. Press # to toggle between On and Off.
b. The Last-check field shows the date and time information of the last storage
check.
c. Highlight the box beside Period and select from Daily, Weekly, or Monthly
for the checking period.
Note When you select Weekly or Monthly, the Day of Week or Day of
Month fields will be activated under the Period field. Select the
check day or check date.
d. Highlight the box beside Check Time and adjust the numbers as desired
using the Arrow buttons.
e. Highlight the box beside Temperature Threshold and adjust the numbers as
desired using the Arrow buttons.
f. Highlight the box beside Sensor Unit and select from Celsius or Fahrenheit.
g. If you want to check the storage status instantly, highlight Check Now, and
then press # .
h. You can save your changes by highlighting OK and then pressing # .
Selecting Cancel exits the screen without saving the changes.
