Customizing TLA 700 Series Setups
After restoring all of the user and application files, you must perform the
following steps to complete the software installation process. The steps in this
section will return your logic analyzer to the same settings it had when it was
shipped from the factory. The following steps are included in this section:
H Creating a shortcut for the QAPlus online manual
H Adjusting the display desktop settings for an external monitor
H Adjusting the refresh rate
H Setting up the screen saver
H Setting up the Virtual Memory
NOTE. You must exit the TLA 700 Application before completing the procedures
in this section. The TLA 700 Application starts automatically each time you
power on the logic analyzer.
Complete the following steps to create a shortcut from the Start menu for the
QAPlus online manual:
1. Use the Windows Explorer (right-click on Start and select Explore) to open
the directory C:\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\QAPlus_WIN-WIN.
2. Select the QAPlus_WIN-WIN directory. From the File menu, select New
and then Create Shortcut.
3. Enter the name of the file C:\WIN-WIN\Qawwusro.exe in the field of the
Create Shortcut dialog.
4. Click Next and set the name of the shortcut to QAPlus_WIN-WIN Manual.
5. Click Finish to install the shortcut in the Start menu.
6. Close the Windows Explorer.
