4. Click OK. After the new settings are in effect, click Yes to keep the new
settings.
5. Leave the Display property page open and continue with the next procedure
to select and configure the screen saver.
The screen saver includes the option of reducing the intensity of the TLA 700
Series LCD display backlight to help prolong the life of the display. Select this
recommended screen saver unless you will always use an external monitor.
1. Select the Screen Saver property page.
2. Select Tektronix LCD Saver from the list of screen savers.
3. Set the Wait period for ten minutes.
4. Click the Settings button to open the screen saver dialog.
5. Set the speed to Fast and the Intensity to Reduced (60%).
6. Click OK to close the dialog.
7. Click OK to close the Display window.
The Mainframe Utilities provide additional settings for your logic analyzer (the
utilities can only be used with the portable mainframe).
1. Click Start, point to Settings, click on Control Panel, and open the Main-
frame Utilities icon.
2. Select the Power Off Mode tab page.
3. Click on the radio button named Enable Soft Power Off.
4. Select the LCD Mode tab page.
5. Click on the radio button named LCD Full On.
6. Click OK to close the utility.
