Skipping forward or backward at certain time
intervals—Jump Search
You can locate a scene ahead or behind the current one
by jumping to a selected time interval (see page 67).
This feature is also available during recording.
While playing (or recording), press

).
Each time you press the button, you can move forward
or backward to a selected time (15 minutes, 30
minutes, or 1 hour).
When you cannot move any farther (beginning or end
of programme is reached), the notice message appears
on the TV. In such a case, press

to cancel
the last movements.
Example 1:
Jump Search during playback: When “JUMP TIME” is set to “30
MIN”:
•You can move back (or forward) to the scenes of 0 minute, 30
minute, 60 minutes, 90 minutes, 120 minutes (elapsed playing
time), and so on....
•In the above example, you can go back to a scene of 30
minutes and of 0 minute (elapsed playing time).
Example 2:
Jump Search during Live Memory Playback: When “JUMP
TIME” is set to “15 MIN”:
•You can move to the scenes of 0:00, 0:15, 0:30, 0:45 of the
broadcasting hour.
•In the above example, you can move to the scenes of 9:00,
9:15, 9:30, 9:45, 10:00, and 10:15.
Freezing the picture and advance it frame by frame
—Still Picture/Frame-by-Frame Playback
You can show the still picture, and advance or reverse it
frame by frame.
You cannot hear playback sounds during Still Picture
and Frame-by-Frame Playback.

Playing in slow motion—Slow Motion
You can select the slow motion speed.
You cannot hear playback sounds during Slow Motion.

Each time you press the button, playback speed

Repeating the same programme—Repeat Play
You can repeat the same programme repeatedly using
HDD Navigation.
