Selection Menu Sorted by Channel Name
TheSelectionMenudisplaysuptoeightchannelportsperpage;total
numberofpagesappearsintheupperright‐handcorner,forexample
“Page2/5”indicatesthatyouareonthesecondoffivepages.Usethe
PageUpandPageDownkeysonyourkeyboardtomovebetweenthe
pa
ges.Onceyouhaveselectedaserverasdescribedonthefollowing
pages,ParagonIIwillswitchtothatchannelport.If“IDDisplay”is
enabledintheUserProfileconfiguration,adisplaywillappearatthetop
ofyourscreentoidentifythechosenchannelportforthenumberof
secondsset.

To choose a server from the Selection Menu
1. IfyouarenotintheSelectionMenu,pressF2.
2. PressF12totogglethemenutosort‐orderviewofyourchoice(by
channelnumberoralphabeticallybychannelname).Theentryforthe
channelportyoucurrentlyhaveselected(ifany)willbehighlighted
andwillhaveasmallredarrow(
)totheleftofitschannelport
name.
Note:Inthechannelnumberview,theSelectionMenucandisplay
eitherallchannelportsoronlythosechannelportsthatthecurrent
userisallowedtoselect(thedefaultview).Ifthesystem
administratorhassetthe“DisplayAllComputers”optioninthe
SystemConfigurationmenuto“Yes”(seeSystemConfiguration(on
page86)),yo
ucanpressF10totogglebetweentherestrictedand
unrestrictedviews.Intheunrestricted“allchannelports”view,the
Paragondisplaysared“S”nexttothescanrateofanychannelport
thattheuserisnotpermittedtoaccess.
