Concurrent Multiple Video Outputs
Youcanaccessonesinglechannelandthusactivatethevideooutputsof
anotherorseveralchannelsatthesametime.Thatis,whenachannelis
selectedintheSelectionMenu,theotherpreconfiguredchannel(s)
automaticallyoutputvideodatatosubsequentuserstations.This
functioniscalled“MultipleVideo”or“PortFo
llowingSwitch.”Itis
especiallyusefulifyouhaveamultichannelvideoserver,orintendtoset
upaTVwallintheParagonIIsystem.
Performingthisfunctionrequiresthechannelassociationtobe
configuredinParagonManager.Onlytheadministratorisallowedtoset
upthech
annelassociation.Ifthedesiredassociationhasnotbeen
configured,contactyourParagonIIsystemadministrator.
Illustration Example
Fourchannels(numbers2,4,6and7)ofParagonIIsystemareconnected
tothesameserverwhichhasfourvideoports.TheParagonadministrator
hasconfiguredthesefourchannelsasanassociationgroupinParagon
Manager,andChannel4issetasthe“first”channelintheassociation

accessthe“first”channel—Channel4.Whenyoudothis,channels2,6
and7willautomaticallyoutputtheirvideodatatouserstations
subsequenttoyouruserstation,whichare3,4and5.
