Sync Sample Clock Pull-down menu to select the source for the sample
clock. Choices are Internal, External word clock
(BNC), or external video (BNC).
Internal operates the HDR24/96 on its internal
clock.
Word Clock (BNC) synchronizes the HDR24/96 to
an external word clock source, for example a digital
console or a clock generator.
When Video is selected for the clock source, the
internal sample clock is synchronized with the
incoming video frame rate to assure that audio
remains in sync with the video.
When using Video as the clock sync source, an
additional pull-down menu appears to select the
video field rate.
Video Field Rate Pull-down menu to select field rate of incoming
video signal. Appears when Video is selected as
Sample Clock source.
Sample Rate Pull-down menu to select sample rate.

Source
Pull-down menu to select whether, when CHASE
TC is selected, the time code source is SMPTE or
MTC.
Bit Depth Pull-down menu to select between 16- and 24-bit
sample resolution.

Frame Rate
Pull-down menu to select among various SMPTE
time code framing options.

Offset
Offsets transport time with respect to incoming time
code. If a negative offset is required, click in the
Neg box.
Note: When the HDR24/96 is generating time code,
the time code offset value has no effect. Time code
output is always the same as the current time
displayed.
Edit the time fields within the box by clicking on a
field and dragging up and down, or direct entry from
the keyboard.
If a negative offset is required, click in the Neg box.
Generate MTC Click to output MTC
Generate
SMPTE
Click to output SMPTE time code.
Note: You cannot simultaneously chase and
generate SMPTE. You can, however, chase
SMPTE and generate MTC, or chase MTC and
generate SMPTE.
